The Laurel Lea is a newspaper created in October of 2006 for Carroll, Floyd, and Patrick counties in southwestern Virginia. It is my wish to have a newspaper that celebrates our way of life with our history and stories from readers; listings of activities and events, columns from local writers; along with jokes and cartoons and anything else we like.
